Remembering the March on Washington upon a commemorative project called His Dream, Our Stories: The Legacy of the March on Washington.
This incredible multimedia project includes a permanent website and an interactive eBook. At the heart of the book and website are over 80 unique interviews with civic leaders, elders, clergy, and activists about the march. These interviews will be also be available to watch on Xfinity On Demand through October 12.
The Metrodigi team has been hard at work on the different versions of the eBook. The iBooks Author version, available now for free download on the iTunes store is bursting with documentary images (including several galleries) and new video interviews. Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the eBook is an interactive page which allows you to share your own March on Washington story.
You can add a story of your own and even save it as a permanent keepsake within the eBook. You can enhance your story with photos from your iPad photo library and even submit your experience for posting on the His Dreams, Our Stories website—it will even be considered for inclusion in an updated edition of the book. When you are finished adding your story, you can share a postcard with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter, inviting them to do the same.
